The Dillon County Council approved an appointment to the Pee Dee Workforce Investment Board at a recent meeting. The Chamber of Commerce, who is responsible for submitting a name to council, proposed Dean Page, an employee of Perdue. He will be replacing Jason Carter. Page’s term expires June 30, 2017. Councilman Archie Scott made a motion to approve Page’s appointment. Councilman Joe Johnson seconded the motion. All were in favor.
