• Latta’s Colby Lee has received an offer to play baseball for Coastal Carolina. Lee went 2-1 on the mound in his sophomore year with the Vikings and had a .307 average with 13 RBI.

• Latta defensive back Davonta Porter has recieved an offer to play football with Clemson. Porter had five interceptions in his freshman year.

• Latta’s Donell Stanley was recently named to the USA Today South Carolina state baseball team. Stanley signed on with the University of South Carolina and is currently attending the second session of summer school at USC. He had a .508 average last season with four home runs and 27 RBI.

• Dillon’s Avery McCall is scheduled to attend a Florida State football camp beginning on July 16. McCall, who started on back-to-back championship teams for the Wildcats, has already received offers from South Carolina, Clemson, Tennessee, LSU, and East Carolina. He threw for 1,432 yards, 18 touchdowns, and three interceptions last season.
