Dillon City Officers Sgt. Mark Vereen and Sgt. Michael Yoder received awards on April 24th from the US Attorney’s Office in Norfolk, VA. These awards were presented to them for their active role in an investigation developing from a traffic stop on I-95. The subject involved in this traffic stop was transporting amounts of methamphetamine from Florida to Virginia. These awards were presented by the Deputy US Attorney for the Common Wealth of Virginia. Shown at the World Trade Center in Norfolk are Sgt. Yoder, the Deputy US Attorney for the Common Wealth of Virginia, Sgt. Vereen, and Captain David C. Lane, who was representing the Dillon Police Department.
