The Dillon Wildcats earned a 10-0 shutout win over the Waccamaw Warriors on Thursday, April 10.

The Wildcats took a 1-0 lead in the top of the first inning and added seven runs in the second and two in the third for the 10-0 win.

Weston Bailey earned the win on the mound, pitching all five innings for two hits, one walk, and six outs. Waccamaw’s Carter Cox took the loss, pitching 1.3 innings for two hits, three earned runs, and three walks.

Bailey also helped lead the Wildcats at bat, going 1-for-w with a home run, one RBI, and three runs scored. Patrick Herring went 2-for-4 with two RBI and one run; Omar McCollum went 3-for-4 with three RBI and one run; and Jarvis Graves went 2-for-3 with one RBI and two runs scored.

The Wildcats improved to 12-1 overall and remained undefeated at 8-0 in Region 8-2A.

The Wildcats are scheduled to be at Manning on Wednesday and will be at home to host Loris on Wednesday, April 23, at 6:30 p.m.
