The Dillon Christian School Warriors fell 16-1 and 17-4 in games against Pee Dee Academy’s Golden Eagles on Thursday and Friday night in varsity baseball action.

On Thursday, the Warriors traveled to Mullins where Pee Dee Academy earned a 16-1 run-ruled win in three innings.

Pee Dee’s Clay Martin earned the win, allowing two hits, two walks, and one run with five outs. Dillon Christian’s Landry Collins took the loss, pitching 1.3 innings for six earned runs, five hits, four walks, and one out.

Pee Dee’s Korey Thomas led the Eagles at bat, going 2-for-3 with four RBI, and Clay Martin went 2-for-2 with a RBI.

On Friday, Dillon Christian hosted Pee Dee Academy with the Eagles earning a 17-4 win.

Trent Rogers pitched four innings for five hits and three walks to earn the win on the mound for Pee Dee.

Pee Dee’s Clay Martin went 2-for-2 with three RBI and three runs scored; Gib Fenters went 3-for-4 with a RBI; Hayden Panos went 3-for-5 with a RBI; and Korey Thomas went 2-for-5 for five RBI and two runs scored.

Boykin led the Dillon Christian Warriors in the effort, going 1-for-4 at bat for two RBI. Boykin also took the loss on the mound, pitching six innings for eight hits, three earned runs, two walks, and four outs.

The Warriors will be at Scotland Christian tonight at 4:00 p.m. and will host Trinity-Byrnes Collegiate on Thursday night.
