The 8U Diamond Backs won first place in the Top Gun season opener in Jefferson, South Carolina, on Sunday, March 9. The Diamond Backs went undefeated in the tournament and beat the Lady Tigers of Mt. Pleasant, North Carolina, 10-2 for the championship.
