Dillon’s Lady Wildcats achieved their first perfect regular season on Monday night with a 71-38 win over the Lady Warriors in Waccamaw.

Dillon took a 12-9 lead over Waccamaw in the first quarter and went 18-14 in the second for a 30-23 lead at the half. The Wildcats widened the gap with a 13-6 third quarter and sealed the win with a 28-9 fourth quarter.

Tyshanna Lester led the Wildcats with a game-high 19 points and had a triple-double with 11 rebounds and 10 steals. Da’Kerhia Samuel added 15 points with a double-double and 18 rebounds, and Yolanda Campbell earned 14 points with a double-double and 15 rebounds. Brianna Lee added eight points in the win, and Khamele Manning earned seven, with Shar’asia Samuel scoring three, Cali McRae adding two, and Kendra McLeod earning one point for the Wildcats.

Waccmaaw was led by Girore with 9 points. Derrick scored 7; Jas. Torrance, 5; Jad. Torrance, 6; Funnye, 4; Brooks, 3; Smalls 2; and Thompson, 2.

The Lady Wildcats are 23-0 heading into the first round of playoffs tonight. Dillon will host Lake Marion at 7:00 p.m.

Mullins finished second in Region 8-2A and will host Lee Central in the first round. Marion finished third and will travel to Lake City, and Waccamaw finished fourth and will face Region 7-2A champ Kingstree in the opening round.
