A DHEC employee was severely mauled by two pit bull dogs on Tuesday, according to Captain Cliff Arnette of the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office.
The attack occurred at Wilderness Place in Little Rock where the employee was there checking on a business matter, Arnette said.
Arnette said the two pit bull dogs were running loose.
The employee sustained significant injuries, Arnette said.
Deputies Art Quick and Troy Jones were the initial responders to the call.
