Dillon’s Lady Wildcats picked up a 60-10 win over the Waccamaw Warriors in Saturday’s makeup game in Dillon.

The Wildcats took a 23-4 lead in the first quarter and went 20-0 in the second to take a commanding lead and outscored Waccamaw 17-6 in the second half to wrap up the win.

Tyshanna Lester led Dillon with a game-high 12 points and Khamele Manning earned 11. Yolanda Campbell and Shar’asia Samuel each added nine points; Kendra McLeod added six; Brianna Lee scored five; and Da’Kerhia Samuel, Cali McRae, and Jelissa Fentzlaff each added two, with Tejah Breeden earning one point in the win.

Alexis Grove led Waccamaw with four points, and Khaijah Smalls, Tamieyah Ford, and LeAnn Thompson each added two.

The Lady Wildcats improved to 18-0 with a 5-0 record in Region 8-2A.

The Wildcats will host Mullins tonight at 6:00 p.m. for their last regular season home game of the season. Make plans to attend to support our local teams!

Dillon will spend the rest of the season on the road, traveling to Marion on Friday, February 7; Loris on Monday, February 10; and Waccamaw on February 12. Dillon is also scheduled to makeup their game against Aynor on Saturday, February 8, at 3:00 p.m.
