BINGHAM FIRE DEPARTMENT GROUNDBREAKING—The groundbreaking at the Bingham Fire Department was held on Wednesday. County Administrator Clay Young called it a “historical event.” The fire department is a continuation of the capital projects sales tax passed in 2002. This is fourth department built with the funds. Young said they want to provide as much fire protection as possible in rural areas. They hope that working with Trico to expand the water system and get more fire hydrants in the area. It is expected to be completed in 3 to 3 1/2 months. The department will be approximately 2,400 sq ft.
