Latta’s 11-12-year-old All Stars claimed the District Championship on Monday, December 2, with a 12-0 win over Hartsville.

The Latta All Stars progressed through the tournament with a 40-0 win over Lake City, a 36-14 win over Darlington, and a 30-6 win over Timmonsville before facing Hartsville for the district title.

Hartsville’s All Stars shut out Mullins 30-0 and Lamar 22-0 in the first two rounds and defeated Cheraw 38-6 to advance to the championship game.

Latta will advance to the lower state championship game on Saturday, December 7, in Barnwell, where they will face Barnwell for the title at 1:30 p.m.
