Former Lake View High School standout Quandon Christian will soon be wrapping up his college career at Clemson.
In his senior year at Lake View, he rushed for 1,368 yards and 23 touchdowns and had 89 tackles and eight sacks. He was one of the top prospects in South Carolina and was ranked nationally as an outside linebacker.
The 6-foot-2, 230-pound linebacker is majoring in sociology and chose Clemson over South Carolina and N.C. State.
In his first three years playing for Clemson, he made a total of 100 tackles, seven tackles for loss, two sacks, two interceptions for 31 yards, 10 quarterback pressures, four pass breakups, and two caused fumbles over 40 games and 21 starts.
So far this season he has made 26 hits and 12 assists for a total of 38, and has made 5.5 tackles for loss and one sack.
Clemson’s last home game was scheduled for Saturday, November 23. The Tigers will be in Columbia to face the South Carolina Gamecocks this Saturday, November 30, at 7:00 p.m. The game will be available on ESPN2.
UPDATE: Christian made three solo tackles and two assists with 1.5 tackles for loss totaling 6 yards in Saturday’s game against the Citadel. He also made a 22-yard fumble recovery.
