David Miller, 78, died Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at Sunny Acres Nursing Home of Fork, SC after an illness.
A funeral service was Friday, October 18 at 2:00 pm at Piney Grove Baptist Church.  Burial followed at Piney Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation was October 17, 2013 at Cooke Funeral Home of Lake View.
Mr. Miller was born in Dillon on April 23, 1935, the son of the late David M. and Chessie Stokes Miller.  
He was a farmer, a veteran of the National Guard, and attended Piney Grove Baptist Church.
Surviving Mr. Miller are his brothers, John C. Miller (Iris), Wade Frank Miller (Inge),  and Fred Miller (Friedel) of Latta, SC; sister, Linda Faye Floyd (Grady) of Marietta, GA; many nieces and nephews; and good friend Josephine Hyatt.
Mr. Miller was preceded in death by his brothers, Charles Miller, Daniel Miller and Mitchell Miller of Dillon.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Piney Grove Baptist Church.
