Lake View’s Ashley Rogers tied for first place in two golf tournaments last week.
On Wednesday, September 25, the lady golfers were at Myrtle Beach Dunes Club where Rogers shot a 45 to earn co-medalist honors with Aynor’s Heather Johnson in the individual competition.
Myrtle Beach won the team competition with a score of 203. Jasmine Chestnut shot a 46 to lead the team; Miranda Russell, 47; Boni Belle Brooks, 52; and Riley Hinde, 58.
Aynor finished second with a total of 222. Bailey Richardson shot a 50, Mary Kate Richardson shot a 62, and Lawton Jordan added a 66 to Johnson’s score of 45.
On Thursday, September 26, the lady golfers were at Black Bear where Rogers shot a 40 to again tie with Johnson for co-medalist honors.
North Myrtle Beach won the team competition with a score of 200 with Madison Elliot shooting a 42 to lead the team. Kyle Chandler shot a 48; Megan Woods, 53; and Erin Herschelman, 57.
Aynor’s team total was 219. Along with Johnsons, 40, Bailey Richardson shot a 50, Lawton Jordan shot a 62, and Taylor Hughes earned a 67.
The lady golfers were scheduled to be at Burning Ridge today to face Waccamaw and at Conway Country Club on Thursday.
