According to a report by First Sergeant Chaddie Hayes of the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office, sometime between August 5 and August 14 someone broke into a motor home and trailer at Dees Pond on Gary Road in the Oak Grove area.
Among the items taken were a chop saw, seven solar panels, air compressor, small generator, air hose, brad gun, hammer breaker, roll of reed fencing, two Dewalt screw guns, trolling motor, four fishing rods, auto batteries, various carpentry tools, various automotive tools, computer software, DVDs, CDs, three pairs of aviation metal sheers, drill index, and titanium step drill bits. Also, this past weekend, it was discovered that heavy gauge wiring had been taken out of an RV.
A reward is being offered for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the suspects. Anyone with any information should contact the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office at 774-1432.
