One Dillon City Police patrol car was burned and fuel was poured on a total of nine police vehicles early Wednesday morning, according to Detective James Hayes of the City of Dillon Police Department.
The cars were parked in the parking lot behind the Gibson Building in Dillon. Hayes said fuel was poured in a line from one vehicle to another. Police believe that the suspect(s) thought that the other cars would be set on fire by this.
