The Dillon Christian Warriors took losses from Robert E. Lee Academy and Trinity-Byrnes this week in varsity baseball action.

On Thursday, April 18, the Warriors fell 18-3 to Robert E. Lee as the Cavaliers improved to 9-14 and 7-5 in the region.

On Monday night, the Warriors hosted Trinity-Byrnes and took a 16-5 loss in five innings. The Titans scored three runs each in the first, second, fourth, and fifth innings and four runs in the third for the win. The Warriors scored three runs in the bottom of the third and two in the fifth.

Trinity-Byrnes Rickie Ford got the win on the mound, pitching two innings for two walks and two outs, and Bryson Davis pitched two innings for two hits, three earned runs, three walks, and four outs. Cameron Pease also pitched for the Titans, going one inning for two hits, two runs, one walk, and one out.

At bat for the Titans, Rickie Ford, Weston Lewis, and Taylor Jones had two hits each. Ford picked up five RBI, with Lewis getting three and Jones bringing in two. Ford, Lewis, and Dalton Russell each hit triples, and Lewis also had a double in the win. The Titans had 10 hits.

The Warriors had four hits and seven errors in the loss, and forfeited a game against Florence Christian on Tuesday.

The Warriors, 1-14, were scheduled to wrap up the regular season tonight at 5:00 p.m. at Marlboro Academy.
