The Town of Rowland will celebrate the Super Bowl win by hosting a parade and celebration ceremony for “Hometown Hero”, Vonta Leach, NFL player for the Baltimore Ravens.
The parade will take place February 23, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. on Main Street Rowland. Celebration Ceremony will follow upon completion of the parade, at Rowland Ballpark on McCormick Street.
Rowland is currently requesting donations from anyone and any businesses willing to give. All proceeds will go towards the events. Any remaining donations will go into the Vonta’ Leach Foundation.
Rowland welcomes anyone who is interested in being a part of the parade by not charging entrance fees for floats, bands, walking units, etc. Lineup will begin at Rowland Middle School and will proceed down Main Street.
