The Dillon Christian School Warriors fell 57-34 to The King’s Academy on Thursday but earned a 66-41 win over Pee Dee Academy in the regular season finale on Friday in Mullins.

On Thursday, the Warriors traveled to Florence to face the Lions. King’s took a 17-10 lead in the first quarter and outscored Dillon Christian 11-6, 19-14, and 10-4 in the remaining quarters to seal the 57-34 win.

Tyler Davis led the Warriors with a team-high 10 points and Will Brown added eight with Mark Minges earning six. Matt Jordan and John Michael Price each added four points and Jim Carr scored two.

Christopher Dean earned a game-high 25 points to lead the Lions and Nic Queary scored 13 points for King’s in the win. Andrew Boardwine added nine points and Hunter Haynes earned three, with Chandler Powell, Ben Clements, and Jared Zernikow each adding two.

The King’s Academy improved to 13-10 overal and 8-3 in SCISA Region 4-2A.

On Friday night, the Warriors were in Mullins where they defeated Pee Dee Academy’s Eagles 66-41.

The Warriors took an 18-5 lead in the first quarter and both teams added 16 points in the second for a 34-21 Warrior lead at the half. Dillon Christian went 24-12 over the Eagles in the third, and both teams added eight points in the fourth to allow the Warriors to retain the win.

Tyler Davis led Dillon Christian with a game-high 4 ponits and Will Brown added 17 points in the win. Mark Minges earned six poits and Jim Carr added five, with Matt Jordan, Ben Boykin, and John Michael Price each contributing four points in the win. Tanner Nygaard added two points for the Warriors.

Tyler Page led Pee Dee Academy with a team-high 22 points and Dalton Rowe added 11. Logan Hennecy and Chase Ankarstran each earned three, and Korey Thomas scored two for the Eagles.

Pee Dee fell to 3-17 overall and 1-11 in the region. The Warriors were 5-11 overall.
