The Latta Vikings fell 59-46 to the visiting Hannah-Pamplico Raiders on Friday night in Latta.
The Raiders took a 12-6 lead in the first quarter, but Latta responded with a 16-14 second to trail 26-22 at the half. The Vikings tied things 36-36 with a 14-10 third quarter, but the Raiders rallied for a 23-10 fourth to seal the win.
Devontae Ellis led Hannah-Pamplico with a team-high 29 points and Jerrid Self added 14 in the win. Ketron Belin earned nine points for the Raiders, and Terry Self and Roy Ellis each added seven.
Ken’Che Page scored a game-high 20 points to lead Latta, and Tyrell Sabb added 10 points with Ty’Sean Burgess earning seven.
The Vikings slip to 5-12 overall and are 4-4 in Region 8A, tied for third place in the region with Green Sea-Floyds. Hannah-Pamplico improves to 7-7 overall and 5-3 for second place in the region. Johnsonville leads the region with an 8-0 record.
