A family with three young children lost their home and their pets in a fire on Monday.
The fire occurred at the home of Major and Kim Clark on 319 Crowley Drive, Latta, at 12:00 on Monday.
Three fire departments responded to the fire—Oak Grove, Latta, and Floyd Dale.
Jamie Gaddy, the brother of the Kim Clark, said that the family pretty much lost everything. The Clarks have three children—two boys, ages 5 and 3, and an 18-month-old girl.
The cause of the fire has not been determined at this time.
Gaddy said the family’s two dogs perished in the fire. Gaddy has photos of the home, inside and out, on his page on Facebook®.
Gaddy said some friends and organizations have been helping with donations. Anyone who would like to help this family may contact Jamie Gaddy at 843-250-7874, on Facebook®, or at gaddy.jamie@yahoo.com.
