Rev. Harold Cooke was the guest speaker for Mount Calvary Baptist Church’s 125th Homecoming service held on Sunday, Nov. 11, at 11:00 a.m.

Gene Tanner led the congregation in gospel selections followed by a solo by Barbara Causey.
Rev. Cooke began by reminiscing of his time as a youth attending Mount Calvary Baptist Church. He also spoke of his time as a highway patrolman.
Rev. Cooke’s sermon was from Acts 13.
Immediately following the service dinner was served at the Family Life Center and the Fellowship Hall to a large crowd.
Present for this homecoming were present members, former members, and guests. Everyone had the opportunity to renew friendships and start new ones.
Rev. Cooke is presently serving as pastor at Fairview Baptist Church of Mount Croghan, SC.
