After enjoying a delicious meal the Brotherhood, WMU, and BYU assembled into the Mount Calvary Baptist Church sanctuary where guest speaker John Henry Williams spoke of his recent mission trip to Cuba. In Acts 1:8 we are told to share the gospel, and that’s exactly what we did while on this mission trip. We had the opportunity to share the gospel with the children, the women, and the men of Cuba.
The people in Cuba practice a great deal of “idol” worship.
With the help of the “Vantage Cube” our group was able to explain Jesus to the Cubans.
In Cuba, Castro allows 25 people to be in one church.
The citizens of Cuba want to hear the gospel. The only way to heaven is via the cross.
During this mission trip 237 people were saved in only one week!
Some were baptized in the ocean. To God be the glory.
