The Dillon City Council passed the second reading of an ordinance identifying the neighborhood park hours.
Harmon Park on North 8th Avenue, Elizabeth Lane Park, West Calhoun Park, and East Street Park will be open from sun up until sun down. The reason is due to the lack of adequate lighting. The ordinance further states that “During neighborhood park hours, the city neighborhood parks shall not be reserved for any special events or performances by any person or organizations.”
Violators will be guilty of trespassing.
