The eight and under Dillon Diamondbacks recently competed in an 8U WFC double elimination tournament on September 22 and 23 at Freedom Florence.

On Saturday morning, they lost to eventual winner the CC Red Hotz of Columbus County, North Carolina. In the last game of the day, the Diamondbacks eliminated the Hot Styx with a 15-8 win.

The Diamondbacks returned Sunday morning at 8 a.m. for a a game against he Palmetto Gators of Spartanburg. They lost a heartbreaking 7-6 in extra innings to finish in fourth place in the tournament.
