The Latta Vikings picked up a 63-20 win over the visiting Lincoln Yellow Jackets on Friday, September 14.
Latta scored in all four quarters, racking up 42 points in the first and adding 7, 6, and 8 in the second, third, and fourth quarters respectively. Lincoln scored one touchdown in the first and another in the second, and ran in a third in the fourth quarter with a successful two-point conversion.
R.J. McClam rushed for two of Latta’s touchdowns, and Ken’Che Page caught two touchdowns in the win.
Latta is now 2-3 overall, while Lincoln remains winless. The Yellow Jackets haven’t earned a win since 2008.
The Vikings will be off this week, but will return to action on Friday, September 28, at Creek Bridge to begin region play.
