Do you have Sugar Diabetes?
Do you know someone with Sugar Diabetes? Do you have a family member with Sugar Diabetes?
We are looking for African Americans with sugar diabetes to participate in a research focus group. A focus group is when people get together to discuss an issue and answer special questions.
The focus group is being conducted by Dr. Ida Spruill from the Medical University of South Carolina. The purpose of the focus group is to:
1) Understand your everyday living experiences with sugar diabetes.
2) Identify your source of health information, format and learning style.
3) Discuss your beliefs about health information and health literacy.
The focus group will last 90 minutes and will be conducted in your local community. Focus group participants will receive lunch and compensation. If you are interested, please call 1-866-551-3010.
