The Dillon County Voter Registration Office has now certified the petitions of all candidates who filed as petition candidates for the General Election, according to Suzie Edwards.
The last petition to be certified was that of Douglas Pernell who is running for Dillon County Sheriff. This was completed on Tuesday, Edwards said.
The following candidates have been certified:
Soil and Water Commission-Alan Gaddy
Dillon County Council District One-James “Hoghead” Campbell (He will face Randy Goings in November.)
Dillon County Council District Two-Jack Scott (He will face incumbent Councilman Bobby Moody in November.)
Dillon County Council District Three- Michael C. “Mike” Grice (He will face incumbent Councilman Archie Scott in November.)
Dillon County Sheriff-Douglas Pernell. (He will face incumbent Sheriff Major Hulon in November.)
