The Scouth Carolina Junior Golf Association’s Pee Dee Chapter continued the Hootie and the Blowfish Summer Tour on Monday, July 23, at Dusty Hills Country Club.

In the competitive Boys 15-18 division, John Lurie Pate of Coward finished first with a 71, with a three-way tie for second between Carson Lee Coker, Michael Scott Smith, and Ryan Michael Parrott, who all shot a 73. Coker won the first “chip-off”, Smith won the second, and Parrott came in third.
Latta’s Michael Todd McWhite finished with a 79 for five points, and Smith Gaddy shot an 82. Cody Lee Hyatt of Latta shot a 99 for three points.

In Boys 13-14, Luke Freeman shot an 80 to lead the division, while Jacob Thompson and Zachary Owens each shot an 88 to tie for second, and William Harrison Breeden shot an 89 for fourth. Dillon’s Jim Carr, who leads the division in points, did not play at Dusty Hills.

In the Boys 10-12 division, James H. Potter led with a 46, followed by Cameron Mills with a 49 and Noah Dangerfield with a 54. Lake View’s Dylan Rogers tied for fourth place with a 55.
Eugene Zeigler III was the only player in the Boys 8-9 division on Monday. he shot a 41.

In the Girls 14-18, Shino Sonoda of Florence shot an 87 and Lake View’s Ashley Rogers shot a 98 for second place.

The Summer Tour continued Thursday at Lake City Golf and Country Club, with the two-day championship tournaments beginning on Tuesday, July 31, at Country Club of South Carolina and Wednesday, August 1, at Florence Country Club.
