An update on the school construction was given at the Dillon District Four School Board meeting on Monday.
Superintendent Ray Rogers said not much had changed since the last meeting.
Rogers said in Lake View the new addition at the high school was really coming along.
It is expected to be turned over to the school district in mid-July. Also, a new sign has been erected at the Lake View District Office.
Rogers said the construction in Dillon is moving rapidly. He said the new middle school is very nice and very spacious.
Furniture was also discussed. Rogers said over half the furniture at J.V. Martin is going to refurbish Lake View and some is going to Gordon and the other elementary schools. There will be all brand new furniture in the new part at Lake View and at Dillon Middle School.
