Our fifth week PTI (Pre-Trial Intervention) meeting was held on Monday, May 21, 2012, 7:00 p.m. at the Riverdale Community Center.
The purpose of this meeting is to sponsor a program by the Solicitor’s office called PTI, which consists of “First Time Offenders” who have been charged with non-violent crimes. This is an eight-week program that consist of various speakers who share their ideas. In these sessions, there is a question and answer session.
The meeting was opened by Rev. Michael Battle, Chaplain, with prayer. He introduced the graduate and speakers.
There was one graduate. She gave the required 250 words plus essay stating, “What PTI Means To Me.” Her essay was well received. She was very appreciative to the staff and speakers.
Rev. Annie Moore, Miracle Deliverance Prayer Temple Church spoke from Pslam 34: 1-7 in great details. She stated if we had the rear of the Lord we would not go through so much pain and suffering. When we are able to see another day, we should thank God. We should bless the Lord no matter what we are going through because our deliverance will come through. In closing Rev. Moore stated when God sets you free, you are free indeed.
Pastor Janie Lucky, Miracle Deliverance Prayer Temple Church and Rev. Annie Moore along with their musician, sung, “Prayer Changes Things” and “Nobody But You Lord,” which were enjoyed by everyone.
