Fork Presbyterian Church held their fifth annual “Bike Day” on Sunday, June 3rd.
The guest speaker was Rev. Jim Gillespie. He spoke on Romans 5:8 with the topic, “The Three Biggest Lies About Salvation.”
Special music was provided by Tom Bongiorno, John “Wideload” Foisey, and the Biker Choir. The Fork Presbyterian Church Choir also performed. Those in attendance enjoyed singing, “I Love This Bike,” by Lyn Anderson to the tune of “I Love This Bar.”
Rev. Anderson gave a special tribute to biker, which spoke of the good attributes of bikers and how they make America a better place.
Also taking part in the service were Brenda English, pianist, and James David Lane, who read announcements.
After the service, a parade of bikes was held in front of the church with bikers showing off their motorcycles. Bikers from the beach, the Midlands, and elsewhere participated in the event
