McLeod Dillon is pleased to announce that Joel Lee has been named Director of Engineering.
“I look forward to the continued growth and development of the Engineering Department. The services provided by this team have expanded over the past several years, and I look forward to its continued success,” said Joel.
“Our day-to-day operations will be built around continuous survey readiness as well as the maintenance and enhancement of our facility.”
In his new role, Joel will oversee the projects and operations of the department.
Joel has worked at McLeod Dillon since February 2012.
Joel started his career with McLeod Health on the McLeod Regional Medical Center campus in Florence, SC, as a Maintenance Mechanic. Prior to joining McLeod, Joel had 37 years of experience in building maintenance specializing in plumbing and electrical and instrumentation.
Of that time, he accumulated 19 years of experience in a hospital setting.
According to John Rogers, Associate Vice President of Support Services at McLeod Dillon, “Joel has a history of success and great accomplishments. He will be an asset to the organization by directing the general and preventative maintenance of the campus and ensuring the safety of our facility.”
Joel has an Associate Degree’s in Civil and Electrical Engineering. He has a Master Plumbing license and is certified in backflow prevention. He is also a registered firefighter and registered biomed technician.
He and his wife Margie current reside in Florence, SC.
