The Dillon County Council approved $10,000 for the Dillon County Public-Private Partnership to promote economic development.
Councilman Joe Johnson said this was not county council’s money, but it was taxpayers’ money and they had to be accountable for it. He said he wanted to get an operating statement on where the money was spent.
Councilman Harold Moody said the request should be put in the regular yearly budget so it doesn’t come up again.
