Ms. Kimberly Cox Curry died Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at her home in Dillon, SC, after an illness.
Funeral services were Saturday, May 5, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Lake View, SC. Burial followed at Lake View Cemetery directed by Cooke Funeral Home of Lake View. The family received friends from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Friday, May 4, 2012 at the funeral home.
Ms. Curry was born in Robeson County, NC on Feb. 11, 1972, the daughter of James Edward “Cricket” Cox and the late Nancy Hayes Hinson.
Ms. Curry is survived by her daughters, Kayla Curry and Alana Brown; father, James”Cricket” Cox (Linda); paternal grandmother, Esther Cox; maternal grandparents, James and Robbye Hayes; sisters, Laura Rowell (Johnny Ray), Buffy Todd (Lee) and Jamie Williams (Chris); and three nieces, Jordan, Jayden, and Jaclyn.
Ms. Curry was preceded in death by her mother, Nancy Hayes Hinson, paternal grandfather, Foster Cox, and Uncle Steve Cox.
A memorial fund has been set up for Kayla Curry and Alana Brown at First Citizens Bank, 406 Hwy 301 N, Dillon, SC 29536.
