The Dillon Wildcats soccer team won their first match of the season but fell in their second outing.
The Wildcats defeated Marlboro County 3-2 on Thursday, March 8, in their first matchup of the season.
On Tuesday, the Wildcats hosted Loris and fell 9-0 to the visiting Lions.
Loris’s Orlin Mejia and and Shammond Jackson scored three goals each in the win. Marquell Bellamy scored two, and Dominic Domingez got one.
Dillon is now 1-1 for the season with an 0-1 record in Region 8A.
The Wildcats were scheduled to host South Florence on Wednesday and will host Mullins on Friday at 6:00 p.m. On Monday, March 19, they’ll travel to Marion to take on the Swamp Foxes. Make plans to attend home games to support our local team!
