Services for Mildred Weatherford Sellers will be held 3:00 p.m. Tuesday in Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Bethesda Southern Methodist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held 7-9 p.m. Monday in the funeral home.
Mrs. Sellers, 70, died Saturday, February 25, 2012 at the Pines Nursing Home.
Born in Dillon County, April 1, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Rowland McNair Weatherford and Nita Elise Byrd Weatherford. She was a member of Dothan Baptist Church, and was the Owner of D&S Diner.
Survivors include her daughters, Sherry (William) Squires and Lee Ann Whittington (Charles) Ray, both of Dillon; granddaughters, Robin Lynn (Michael) Watts, and Tammy Denise (Darrel) Hulon; grandson, Bradley Joseph (Jessie) Squires; great-grandchildren, Makayla, Colby and Jacob Watts, Ava Squires, Cole, Connor, Colin, and Madelyn Hulon; brothers, Benny Weatherford and Barney Weatherford, both of Latta; sisters, Agnes Townsend, Betty Willoughby, and Lucille George, all of Latta; special friends, Kathy Alford, Gloria Clark, and Larry Graham.
Mrs. Sellers was preceded in death by her parents; husband, David M. Sellers; her sister, Ella Mae Hayes and her brothers, Lide Weatherford and Rowland Weatherford, Jr.
