First Bank has donated $2,000 to Berean Community Development Corporation, a charitable organization dedicated to community improvement and capacity building.
“The programs of the Berean Community Development Corporation make a real difference in people’s lives,” said First Bank Executive Vice President R. Walton Brown.
“First Bank is pleased to make this annual donation to support the unique ways that Berea CDC partners with the less advantaged to improve their lives and strengthen families in the greater Latta community.”
This is fifth year First Bank has donated to Berean CDC’s outreach efforts.
Berean Community Development Corporation seeks ways to enhance the quality of life for low-income persons and families by providing the necessary tools for them to become self-sufficient and productive members of society.
Berean CDC programs promote the revitalization of distressed areas in Dillon, Horry and Marion Counties by developing initiatives that seek to improve social, educational, and economic deficiencies. (adv.)
