LATTA – Ella Mae Weatherford Hayes died at the Morrison Manor in Laurinburg, NC February 3, 2012.
Funeral services were held 2:00 P.M. Monday, February 6, 2012 at the Latta Southern Methodist Church with interment in Magnolia Cemetery. Visitation was from 3:00 to 5:00 P.M. Sunday, February 5, 2012 at Kannaday Funeral Home in Latta, SC.
Mrs. Hayes was born in Darlington, SC the daughter of the late Roland McNair and Nita Elise Byrd Weatherford. She was the widow of Jessie Carlos Hayes.
She was a member of Latta Southern Methodist Church and a Homemaker.
She is survived by her daughters, Pamela H. (Frank) McKay of Marston, NC, Shirley H. (Jerry) Ethridge of Hamlet, NC, and Connie H. (David) George of Florence, SC; brothers, Benny and Barney Weatherford both of Latta, SC; and sisters, Betty Willoughby, Agnes Townsend, Lucille George, and Mildred Sellers all of Latta, SC; six granchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a daughter, Sundy H. Anderson.
