A recruiter with the S.C. National Guard has been charged with sexual battery with a student and lewd act, according to Detective Cliff Arnette of the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office.
Corey Wilson, 34, of Dillon County was charged. A bond of $45,000 was set on Friday.
Arnette said the incident allegedly occurred in May 2011, but law enforcement just became aware of it on January 20th and an investigation ensued. SLED is assisting the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office with the investigation.
