Sandra Diane Rogers, 59, died Sunday January 22, 2012 at her residence. Born in Mullins, S.C. on May 8, 1952, she was the daughter of Elvin J. Bailey and the late Leverta Davis Bailey. She was a member of Dillon Freewill Baptist Church.Survivors include her son, Carey Wayne Rogers of Lumberton, N.C. daughter, Leverta Lynn (Neil) Tyner of Lumberton, N.C.; her father, Elvin J. Bailey of Fairmont N.C.; brothers, Eldon (Darlene) Bailey, and Edward Bailey, both of Fairmont, NC; sisters, Nyoka (William) Byrd, and Martha (Timmy) Thomas, both of Fairmont, N.C.; 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Ms. Rogers was preceded in death by her sister, Nancy Hayes; and her granddaughter, Carrie Dawn Rogers.
Services were held Wednesday in Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Floyd Memorial Cemetery in Fairmont.
