On Jan. 1, a burglary/breaking and entering was reported at Sunshine Washerette, 213 Lockemy Highway, Dillon. Someone came to the business to clean and noticed that someone had come in during the night and broke open the washing powder dispenser, according to a report by Sgt. Michael Yoder.
A washing machine had also been broken into, and some tools and washing machine parts were also taken.
The suspect entered through a small vent in the rear of the building.
The suspect is a black male, between 28-38 years old, about 5’9”, 180 lbs. He was wearing blue jeans, a blue hat with a red brim, and a blue shirt.
