Betty Jo Herring Romero, 56, died Sunday, January 8, 2012, at the McLeod Hospice House in Florence.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Wednesday in Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Piney Grove Freewill Holiness Church Cemetery.  Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Born in Dillon, SC, August 30, 1955, she was the daughter of Beatrice Ward Herring and the late Andrew Herring.  She was a homemaker, and attended Trinity Holiness Church of Latta.
Survivors include her daughters, Miriam Romero of Hamer and Sharon Evers of Marion; son, Bruce Romero of Dillon; sisters, Mary Roberts and Barbara Owens both of Dillon; brothers, David Herring, Ernest (Edith) Herring, and Horace Herring all of Marion; 7 grandchildren, Kayla Lane, Lindsey Spivey, Wesley Spivey, Jayson Evers, Michael Evers, Jayden Romero, and Jordan Romero.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Johnny Herring and Rembert Wayne Ward.
