Dillon County resident, Jean Sox, was among a group of more than 90 women from across the state attending the 2011 South Carolina Farm Bureau Annual Women’s Leadership Conference at The Clemson University Conference Center and Inn.
Conference participants enjoyed workshops addressing social media, heart health for women, and opportunities available through the American Farm Bureau Foundation for Agriculture.
In addition, attendees heard from Clemson University College of Agriculture, Forestry and Life Sciences Dean, Dr. Tim Scott. The conference concluded with an upstate tour with stops at Fort Hill, the Oconee County Heritage Center, Nancy Basket and Chattooga Belle Farms.
