Football playoffs continue around the state, with Lake View taking on Christ Church for the Class A Division II title and Dillon taking on Timberland for the Class AA Division I lower state title.

In Class A Division I, Hemingway defeated Bamberg-Ehrhardt 32-7 on Friday for the lower state title, while Abbeville defeated Chesterfield 17-13 for the upper state title. Hemingway and Abbeville will play for the state championship on Friday at Benedict College in Columbia at 3:00 p.m.

In the upper state of Class AA Division I, Woodruff defeated Cheraw 42-20 and Strom Thurmond defeated Emerald 49-21 to advance to the upper state title bout on Friday. The winner will face either Timberland or Dillon for the state title on December 2.

In Class AA Division II, Bishop England eliminated Marion 28-14 and Silver Bluff defeated Mullins 21-7, while in the up state, Central shut out Chesnee 31-0 and Columbia defeated Carolina in a close 29-27 game.

In Class AAA, South Pointe will be hosting York for the upper state title on Friday, while A C Flora will host Bluffton for the lower state title.

In Class AAAA Division I, Gaffney will take on Boiling Springs for the upper state title, while Byrnes will host Blythewood in the lower state bracket. Division II will feature North Augusta at Goose Creek in the upper state championship, with Greenwood hosting Ashley Ridge for the lower state title.
