The T.Y.L.A. Program sponsored a vent session to welcome new members to the program. The speaker of the night was Mr. James Roberts (Mohawk Carpets). He spoke to the group about what does turning your life around mean to them? Roberts explained that a complete turn around requires you to change mentally and spiritually, which includes putting God first in all of your daily activities. Roberts also discussed some career opportunities, requirements to obtain employment at Mohawk Carpet. Executive Director Eddie Holden gave out numerous awards to Mr. Roberts for taking time out of his busy schedule to speak with the group, also to Krista Carmichael for her awesome leadership and effort that she has shown as a volunteer in the program. T.Y.L.A. of S.C. welcomed three new members that were voted in by the program’s board.
