Services for Annie Mae Jackson will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday in Mt. Zion Baptist Church with burial in Pyerian Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held 1:00-2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the church, and at other times at 2480 Gerald Road, Rowland, NC.
Mrs. Jackson, 87, died Friday, September 23, 2011 at Scotland Memorial Hospital in Laurinburg.
Born in Dillon County, SC, May 17, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Raymond Coward and Ethel Arnette Coward. She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church, and was a homemaker.
Survivors include her daughters, Frances Willis of Lexington, SC, Diane Gerald, and Lynnie Dent, both of Rowland, NC; sons, Steve Jackson of Columbia, SC, and Wayne Jackson of Durham, NC; grandchildren, Ginny Watts, Vickie Ford, Vincent Willis, Ruth West, Jim Dent, Shelby Jackson, Stevie Jackson, April Jackson, and Wayne Jackson; great-grandchildren, Ava, Rachel, Aaron, Ethan Colette, Sabrina, Leandra, Katherine, Lacey, Dakota, and Nicholas; special friends/helpers, Joyce Hunt, Roy Hunt, and James Sinclair.
