Services for Jerry Wayne Taylor weree held Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. in Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery of Dillon. Visitation was 6-8 Tuesday in the funeral home.
Mr. Taylor, 49, died Sunday at his mother’s residence.
Born in Dillon County, January 3, 1962, he was the son of Shelley Richardson Edwards and Jerry LeGrande Taylor. He was employed with South Of The Border, and was a member of the Pee Dee Indian Nations of Upper South Carolina.
Survivors include his mother, Shelley Richardson Edwards of Dillon; father, Jerry L. “Pat” Taylor of Dillon; one son; sister, Tammy “Fermin Beltran” Taylor of Latta; step brother, Caryle Causey of Abilene, Texas; step sister, Lillian Lewis of Floyd Dale; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, Ryan and Kelly Schafer of Dillon.. He was preceded in death by his brother, Richard Thomas Taylor.
