Louise Grice, 73, died Sunday, July 24, 2011, at her residence.
Funeral services will be held 3:00 P.M. Thursday in Hamer Church of God with burial in Magnolia Cemetery directed by Cooper Funeral Home. Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at her residene, 215 Oak Street, Latta, SC.
Born in Horry County, SC, October 13, 1937, she was the daughter of the late William McDuffie Small and Betsy Earlene Hilburn Small. She was a member of the Latta Church of God, was the widow of the late James Grice, Sr, and was a homemaker.
Survivors include her children, James (Harriett) Grice of Darlington, Marie (R.P.) Grimsley of Dillon, Patsy (Cookie) Wiggins of Latta, Rosie (Tim) Smith of Latta, Normie Tyler (Reggie Christian) of Latta, Mary Grice (Ken McRae) of Latta, Tammy (P.J.) Rogers of Latta, and Jimmy Grice of Latta; 2 brothers; 10 sisters; 25 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Margie Grice; a son, Jimmy Dean Grice; two sisters, and one brother.
