Miss Pageland Erika Bryant has won the preliminary talent competition in the Miss South Carolina pageant. Bryant, a soprano and a voice student of Robin Thompson, sang an operatic rendition of “Quando Me’n Vo.”
Erika is the 18 year old daughter of J.C. and Peggy Bryant and graduated from Dillon Christian School where she was Student Body President. Erika has served at Lt. Governor at Palmetto Girls State, Anchor Club, President, and is the former Miss Florence Teen (2010), 4th runner up to Miss S.C. Teen and the Preliminary Talent Winner for Miss S.C. Teen (2010). She will be attending the University of South Carolina in the fall where she is planning to double major in Vocal Performance and Mass Communications.
The pageant is taking place from June 28-30.
